Extensive Performance description:Mark Kingsford has a varied background & can offer a number of possibilities ranging from performing various animations, making tailor-made acts, giving comedy workshops, acting as the master of ceremonies, or participating in company video’s.
Mark is an actor, mime artist, theatre director, comedian, script writer & theatre teacher.
He was born in London & has lived & worked in the Netherlands since 1974.
His background includes pantomime, commedia, Fools Theatre & comedy.
He has worked in a number of Dutch theatre companies, led two of his own theatre groups & has performed intensively in- & outside the Netherlands (England, Germany, Finland, Denmark, France, Belgium, Spain, Malta, Austria, Hungary, Poland, Switzerland, South Africa & Russia).
He has twice been nominated for the Netherlands Mime Award.
He gives lessons & workshops at various theatre festivals, schools & institutes.
He writes scripts & has directed a number of theatre groups & received many commissions from business companies for making tailor-made acts, animations, performing in company videos or acting as presentator/master of Ceremonies.

Mark Kingsford is een zeer ervaren acteur-regisseur. Hij heeft een gevarieerde achtergrond waarmee hij de volgende mogelijkheden biedt: hij maakt animaties op bedrijfsfeesten, speelt als acteur in bedrijfsvideo’s, maakt special tailor-made acts, geeft comedy- en mime workshops en is een vaak gevraagd Master of Ceremonies.
Geboren in London, woont en werkt hij in Nederland sinds 1974.
Als acteur heeft hij in verschillende theatergroepen gewerkt en veel voorstellingen in binnen en buitenland gespeeld. Ook heeft hij veel solo en duo voorstellingen gegeven. Zijn kracht ligt in humor, improviseren en in contact met zijn publiek. Twee keer is hij genomineerd voor de Nederlands Mime Award.
Mark schrijft scripts en als regisseur heeft hij avondvoorstellingen, openlucht-, straat- en kindertheater gemaakt in binnen- en buitenland. Hij geeft workshops en lessen in comedy en mime.
